Ruíz Week's Best Player Monday, July 22nd, 2019 The League 1 AAA has named its Top Player of the Week. The honor went to Pancho Ruíz, right fielder of the Thomasville Lookouts. In an extraordinary hitting display, he belted out hits at a .500 pace to win the award. Ruíz went 13-26 for the week, totaled 6 home runs, 17 RBIs and scored 11 times. Ruíz has collected 56 hits for the Lookouts this year, 16 of them home runs. He has also netted 48 RBIs and scored 39 runs while batting .275. |
