Willie Cameron Nabs Prestigious Outstanding Pitcher Award Thursday, October 17th, 2019 The Outstanding Pitcher Award for 2019 has been presented and the League 3 AAA winner is Willie Cameron of Calgary. "It's always nice to receive an award like this," said Cameron. "I just hope I can improve on my performance next year and be in the running again," the Lynx star told reporters. Cameron excelled with an impressive 15-3 record in 25 starts. In 158.2 innings he yielded 183 hits and 61 walks, while striking out 161 and compiling a fine 4.82 ERA.Louis McDowell of the Sunset District Fog finished second in voting, while Dan Mitchell of the Hialeah Dodos finished third. |
