Galló L3AAA Winner, Top Hurler in August Sunday, September 1st, 2019 Any time a rookie makes a splash on the scene, it's got to be great for his career potential. Just ask César Galló, who put together a stellar month out of the pen. The Augusta Timber Hawks closer, 22, kept the opposition off balance all month as he held them to a .176 average and walked away with the League 3 AAA Pitcher of the Month award for August. Galló posted a 2-1 mark and a 0.00 ERA in 11 relief appearances. In 14.2 innings, he had 5 saves, 9 strikeouts, and 8 walks.
