Wilmington's González Bags L3AAA Batting Award Sunday, September 1st, 2019 Felipe González is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Wilmington first baseman joined that select company when the League 3 AAA announced the results of August's voting. González totaled 36 hits, 6 walks, 10 home runs, 27 RBIs and 17 runs scored last month to put together a .429 batting average and .457 on-base percentage. To date, González has collected 96 hits for a .334 average. He has posted 13 home runs, scored 44 runs and driven in 49 runs. |
