González Sizzles with 20-Game Batting Streak Monday, August 19th, 2019 Just like "Old Man River" Felipe González just keeps on rolling along. The Wilmington first baseman stretched his hitting streak to 20 games today at Dodos Ballpark. He was 1-for-3 in the Bay Hawks 4-2 win over the Hialeah Dodos. Felipe González grounded out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, walked in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Brent Riley in the 8th. Looking at his present stats, González has compiled a .329 batting average in 60 games with a .379 on-base percentage, while hitting 11 home runs and driving in 44 runs. |
