Hialeah-Augusta Brawl, Andrews and Vogel Suspended Friday, August 2nd, 2019 Hialeah's Joe Andrews and Augusta's Pat Vogel have been handed 2-game suspensions for their parts in yesterday's upheaval at Dodos Ballpark. The teams were notified today that the suspensions would go into effect immediately. According to the league commissioner Andrews and Vogel provoked and incited the brawl and bore the blame for what transpired. Currently Andrews is batting .239 with 57 hits and 16 home runs. He has knocked in 44 runs and scored 43 times. He has made 13 relief appearances this year with 0 saves. Vogel has achieved a 0-0 record while holding opposing hitters to a .361 batting average and posting a 7.71 ERA. He has tossed 16.1 innings, given up 26 base hits, fanned 16 and issued 9 walks. |
