3L Best Newcomer Award Hauled in by Robertson Friday, October 25th, 2019 When John Robertson stepped onto the baseball field, he meant business. His solid play this year has netted the Northern Virginia rookie left fielder the Third League Newcomer of the Year Award for 2019. Playing in 81 games, he hit for a .300 average with 85 hits, 12 home runs, 72 RBIs and 42 runs scored.Robert O'Connor of the Richardson City Thundercats finished second in voting, while Dave Goode of the Houston 1837 Colt .45s finished third. |
