BC, Colt .45s Confirm Deal Monday, October 14th, 2019 In a hastily called press conference, Lone Star announced today a trade with Houston 1837 that will send 24-year-old center fielder Ray Merrill and 23-year-old minor league catcher Eric Randolph to the Colt .45s in exchange for 17-year-old minor league starting pitcher Ismael Soto, 25-year-old minor league first baseman Tom Montgomery and 22-year-old reliever Rubén Sánchez. All players are expected to be in their respective new cities in time for today's games. Lifetime Merrill is hitting .230 and has totaled 5 home runs. |
