Tares Receives Updated Diagnosis Monday, September 9th, 2019 The medical report is in: the injury that has kept Northern Virginia starting pitcher Javier Tares out of action since 09/08/2019 will sideline him for another 11 months. The 30-year-old Tares, who has a torn ulnar collateral ligament, said he heals quickly. "I'll be back soon," he said, "and I'll pick up where I left off. " To date this season Tares has compiled a 11-7 record with a 4.20 ERA in 20 starts. |
