Hayes Honored, 2019 SL Outstanding Hitter Award Monday, October 28th, 2019 Herman Hayes of the Chicago Gold Sox proved that you can step out of the shadows and onto the stage if you've got the talent and the drive to hone your skills. Hard work, long hours and a tireless resolve paid off for him today in the form of the Silver League Outstanding Hitter Award. Hayes hit for a .360 average while collecting 151 hits, 23 doubles, 10 triples, 49 home runs, 118 RBIs and scoring 104 times.Do-hyung Nam of the Columbus Tidal Waves finished second in voting, while Yong-oon Yi of the Columbus Tidal Waves finished third. |
