He crafted a standout 17-3 mark in 24 starts, striking out 212, while walking 42. He worked 181.1 innings, yielded 136 hits and posted a 2.08 ERA. Opposing clubs had a .207 against him.Ralph McKinney of the Chicago Gold Sox finished second in voting, while Bill Fletcher of the Columbus Tidal Waves finished third. |
