Gold Sox Send Martínez to Lone Star Monday, October 14th, 2019 Done deal! The Chicago Gold Sox have agreed to send 33-year-old minor league catcher Vicente Martínez to the Lone Star BC for nothing. The trade, rumored for days, was completed in the wee hours this morning. Martínez has a career .320 batting average and .358 on-base percentage. He has recorded 454 hits with 83 doubles, 4 triples, 95 homers, 284 RBIs and scored 242 runs since coming into the league. |
