Braun Whitewashes Republics Sunday, August 4th, 2019 Speaking after the game, the Rocky Mountain manager said, "John Braun had everything going for him. He changed speeds effectively, stayed down, had a lot of movement... he had it all... masterful." Braun held the New Amsterdam Republics to 4 hits and fashioned a fine 3-0 shutout. He had no walks and 6 strikeouts in the game. "We couldn't get anything going. He certainly had our number," the New Amsterdam skipper told reporters.
