Newcomer of the Month Picked Thursday, August 1st, 2019 Emílio Barbán had a fine July against Silver League pitchers and was acclaimed the league's Rookie of the Month today. The New Amsterdam third baseman walloped the opposition with 25 hits, 5 home runs, 16 RBIs and 10 runs scored. He compiled a .397 average and .472 on-base percentage. For the year Barbán is batting .350 with 14 home runs, 42 RBIs and 34 runs scored. |
