Rocky Mountain Beats Wizarding AC 6-0, Jiménez Ks 15 Monday, July 15th, 2019 It was a very special game for Félix Jiménez today at San Francisco Grounds in Rocky Mountain. He had the perfect delivery. The good fastball. The nasty curve. The batters mumbling and muttering when they swung and missed. And when he needed a strikeout, he got it. In an unforgettable performance the 24-year-old Jiménez fanned 15 strikeouts Ravenclaws and sparked the Rocky Mountain Nuggets to a 6-0 victory over Wizarding AC. His catcher commented, "I don't think I have seen him throw better. His location and command were really something." In addition to his 15 strikeouts, Johnson allowed 1 hit and 3 walks in a superlative outing. His manager added, "It's a manager's day off when you get pitching like that." The Wizarding AC skipper had no comment. In 10 starts this season Jiménez has crafted a 5-3 record with a 2.44 ERA. |
