SL Selects Rookie Star of the Month Monday, July 1st, 2019 Jeff Young's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young Las Vegas catcher has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In June he was voted the Rookie of the Month Award. During the month he hit .320 with 6 doubles, no triples and 3 home runs. Young also scored 11 times and drove in 13 runs. This season in 40 games, Young has hit at a .282 clip with 46 hits, 3 home runs, 16 RBIs and 17 runs scored. |
