Boston, Lexington Confirm Swap Monday, October 14th, 2019 BNN has learned the Boston Patriots have reportedly worked out a deal with the Lexington BC. Sources close to the Patriots indicated that a trade has been reached in principle where 22-year-old minor league shortstop Joe Craig and 30-year-old right fielder José Álvarez will be swapped to Boston with nothing heading to Lexington. Neither organization would comment on the report, saying it was club policy not to speak about a trade until it was finalized. Looking at his career numbers, Álvarez has played in 200 games with a .308 batting average. Among his 245 hits are 42 doubles, 7 triples and 9 home runs. He also has scored 102 runs and driven in 88 runs. |
