Brooklyn's Eliott Diagnosis Revealed Saturday, October 12th, 2019 Jim Eliott will have to wait a while longer. The Brooklyn starting pitcher was informed this afternoon that he will miss another 2-3 months with a herniated disc. The injury has kept him off the field since 10/10/2019. Though Eliott had hoped to return soon, he has no choice but to be patient. "Gotta stay focused," he said. "Gotta stay positive." This season Eliott has compiled a 14-3 mark, 1.40 ERA and made 21 starts. |
