Volkers Out of Commission 8 Weeks Wednesday, September 25th, 2019 Yuri Volkers will have to wait a while longer. The Grafton starting pitcher was informed this afternoon that he will miss another 8 weeks with a strained hamstring. The injury has kept him off the field since 09/23/2019. Though Volkers had hoped to return soon, he has no choice but to be patient. "Gotta stay focused," he said. "Gotta stay positive." This season Volkers has a 4-9 record with a 3.94 ERA. |
