Best UAA Hurler Chosen for 2018 Saturday, September 22nd, 2018 The Outstanding Pitcher Award for 2018 has been presented and the USPL Double A winner is Miguel Mora of Mercer Island. "It's always nice to receive an award like this," said Mora. "I just hope I can improve on my performance next year and be in the running again," the Screaming Eagles star told reporters. Mora excelled with an impressive 13-4 record in 24 starts. In 161.2 innings he yielded 135 hits and 43 walks, while striking out 176 and compiling a fine 3.17 ERA.Javier López of the Tacoma Fur Traders finished second in voting, while Neil Gilliam of the Tacoma Fur Traders finished third. |
