Romero Set to Miss 4-5 Months Tuesday, August 28th, 2018 Manuel Romero will have to wait a while longer. The Leupp starting pitcher was informed this afternoon that he will miss another 4-5 months with a bone spur in his elbow. The injury has kept him off the field since 08/25/2018. Though Romero had hoped to return soon, he has no choice but to be patient. "Gotta stay focused," he said. "Gotta stay positive." This year Romero has recorded a 1-13 mark. In 27 starts he has fanned 120 batters in 123 innings with a 5.85 ERA. |
