Nabeiro Has 20-Game Hitting Streak Monday, July 16th, 2018 Guomez Nabeiro ran his hitting streak to 20 straight games today at Thunder Hawks Ballpark, when he collected 2 hits in 3 at-bats. "Hey, the streak is great. I hope it never ends. But I'm not happy when we lose the game," was his comment after Ft. Polk South was beaten 15-2 by the Santa Barbara Streak. "The scoreboard tells the whole story." Guomez Nabeiro flied out in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th and hit a solo-shot off Alf Näsbom in the 6th. During the current season Nabeiro is batting at a .354 clip with 5 home runs and 42 RBIs. He has played in 61 games and scored 31 times. |
