Christensen Slaps 5 Hits Thursday, May 24th, 2018 "Ever since I picked up my first bat my coaches were always saying to keep your eye on the ball, don't overswing... just make contact and ya never know what'll happen," Sun Prairie's Jeremy Christensen told reporters after the game. "That's all I did today. I made contact and it turned out well." It definitely turned out well for Christensen today as he collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats against Huntington Beach. It turned out well for his team, too, as the Swallows knocked off the Surf 8-6 at Swallows Ballpark. Jeremy Christensen singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. So far this year Christensen has 1 home run and a .278 batting average. |
