UAA Gives Best Pitcher Award Wednesday, September 19th, 2018 23-year-old Stanley Williams of the Gurdon Pelicans put together a good year in 2018 for such a young player. Williams was named today as the winner of the USSL Double A Outstanding Pitcher Award. Williams crafted an impressive 13-4 record and a 3.30 ERA. In 111.2 innings he allowed 99 hits, struck out 153, and walked 42.Art Adams of the Gurdon Pelicans finished second in voting, while Glenn West of the Atlantic City Sonics finished third. |
