Campbell's Hit Streak Reaches 34 Games Friday, August 24th, 2018 Thomas Campbell has been ripping hits every day for quite some time, and no team seems to be able to stop him. The Chesapeake first baseman got 1 hit today against the Huntington Beach Surf and now has a 34-game hitting streak. The Continentals won the game 9-3. Thomas Campbell flied out in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, walked in the 6th and grounded out in the 7th. So far in 2018 Campbell is batting .311 with 9 home runs, 41 RBIs and 49 runs scored. He has 84 hits in 270 at-bats and a .387 OBP. |
