Campbell's Hit Streak Soars to 32 Games Tuesday, August 21st, 2018 The streak is alive and well -- at least for today. Thomas Campbell did it again. He bashed 1 hit in today's game and for the last 32 games in a row has collected at least one hit. The 19-year-old Chesapeake first baseman extended his streak as the Continentals beat the Marmora Scramblers 11-2 at Chesapeake Grounds. Thomas Campbell flied out in the 1st, walked in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, hit a two-run single in the 6th and walked in the 8th. This year Campbell has hit 9 home runs and posted a .313 batting average. |
