Campbell Boosts Hit Streak to 25 Games Saturday, August 11th, 2018 Thomas Campbell of the Chesapeake Continentals extended his hitting string to 25 straight games with 4 hits in today's 9-1 triumph over the Myrtle Beach Mermen at Tennille Grounds. Thomas Campbell struck out in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Ryan McCall in the 4th, hit a two-run single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. This year Campbell is hitting .315, produced 36 RBIs and 8 home runs, scored 39 times and gotten on base at a .389 rate. |
