Rodríguez Wins UAA Player of the Week Honors Monday, July 16th, 2018 So far in his young career, Álex Rodríguez has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the USSL Double A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 20-year-old Myrtle Beach Mermen left fielder hit at a torrid .538 clip as he collected 14 hits in 26 at-bats, 2 home runs, 10 RBIs and 7 runs scored. This season Rodríguez has hit at a .327 clip and produced 39 runs batted in, 8 home runs and 28 runs. |
