King Selected Top Performer in UAA Monday, June 18th, 2018 Brian King has been in a real groove lately. The 21-year-old Colorado Springs Velocity shortstop nabbed USSL Double A Player of the Week honors today after beating up on opposing pitchers all last week. King's hot streak featured 10 hits in 18 at-bats, 1 home run, 3 RBIs, 6 runs scored and a .556 average. Thus far this season King is hitting .286 with 3 home runs, 13 RBIs and 19 runs scored. He has 26 hits in 91 at-bats and has played in 27 games. |
