Appeldoorn's Hit Streak Soars to 25 Games Friday, August 17th, 2018 At Seattle Grounds today Seattle catcher Timmy Appeldoorn stretched his consecutive-game hitting streak to 25 games with 1 hit against the Belvedere Park Rawhides. However, the Terns came up short on the scoreboard and lost the game 4-1. Timmy Appeldoorn grounded out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 6th and singled in the 9th. So far this season Appeldoorn is hitting .322 with 10 home runs. |
