Lloyd Wins MAA Player of the Week Prize Monday, July 2nd, 2018 21-year-old Daryl Lloyd made a few Virginia Beach headlines during this past week as the rookie right fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and M3L Double A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 17 hits in 28 at-bats to put up a .607 average. Lloyd collected 2 home runs, 10 RBIs and scored 9 runs. Lloyd is hitting .374 so far this season with 42 RBIs and 44 runs scored. He has 80 hits including 9 home runs, 12 walks and .407 OBP. |
