Manager Whitney History; Battlekings Start Search Saturday, September 22nd, 2018 The Naperville Battlekings have ended their relationship with skipper Taylor Whitney, firing him this afternoon. The Battlekings indicated they will soon be interviewing candidates for the position. "This time we hope to get someone with a proven track record. We want an experienced manager and will take our time in getting one," the general manager told reporters. "No hard feelings," Whitney said. "This is just part of the game. Naperville gave me an opportunity and I appreciate it. They treated me well and fairly. I just wish we could have done better." |
