Loons Chill Wade's Hot Streak Saturday, September 8th, 2018 Battlekings shortstop Marcus Wade was one of the hottest hitters in baseball, coming into today's game against Bagley with a 25-game hitting streak. However, the Loons put a chill in his bat, at least for today, and held him hitless in 4 at-bats during the Bagley 5-0 triumph at Constellation Ballpark. This season Wade has banged out 69 hits in 190 at-bats for a .363 average with 14 home runs. He is getting on base at a .435 pace and his totals also include 43 RBIs and 39 runs scored. |
