League 2 AAA Selects August's Best Batter Saturday, September 1st, 2018 When Tanyu Kimura stepped up to the plate in August, he did it with confidence and today he was honored with the League 2 AAA Batter of the Month award. The young Saint-Jérôme first baseman posted a .405 batting average with 11 home runs, 25 RBIs and scored 32 runs. Kimura also worked pitchers for 18 walks to post a .479 on-base percentage. On the year Kimura has hit .325 with 23 home runs, 79 RBIs and scored 90 runs. |
