Hit Streak Now at 20 for García Sunday, August 12th, 2018 It has been quite a while since somebody stopped Rafael García without a hit in a game. The Battlekings couldn't do it in today's game at Bagley Fields. The Bagley Loons first baseman banged out 1 hit and extended his hitting streak to 20 consecutive games in his club's 5-3 victory. Rafael García singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, struck out in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. So far on the season García is hitting .381 with 10 home runs, 61 RBIs and 62 runs scored. He has 139 hits and played in 84 games. |
