Ogres Brouwer July's Top Hurler Wednesday, August 1st, 2018 The Bangor Trident Base Ogres felt very secure when they sent Benjamin Brouwer out to the hill last month. The 28-year-old starter went after League 2 AAA hitters with a vengeance and earned July's Pitcher of the Month award. He went 5-0 with a 1.79 ERA as he struck out 35 in 40.1 innings over 6 starts. For this year Brouwer has chalked up 8 wins and 5 losses in 16 starts with 92 strikeouts in 92.2 innings and a 4.27 ERA. |
