Nix's Hit Streak Soars to 20 Games Thursday, July 26th, 2018 An opposing pitcher told BNN after the Bay City-Scranton game today, "Chet Nix is hitting everything you throw at him. He is one tough out. Fortunately things went our way in the ballgame today and we came away with a 6-5 win. But Nix still continued his streak." The Supernovas catcher now has hit safely in his last 20 games. He was 2-3 in today's contest. Chet Nix hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, walked in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th. Thus far this year Nix has hit .335 with 11 home runs and 31 RBIs. |
