Great Day for Navarro -- 5 Hits Sunday, July 15th, 2018 Domingo Navarro exploded for a barrage of base hits today at Psychos Ballpark. The Saint-Jérôme left fielder had a field day in the 24-5 triumph over the Bay City Bombers, finishing with a 5-6 day and a spot in the league record book. "My hitting philosophy is pretty simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Well, Navarro must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too. It was one of his best days ever with the bat. Domingo Navarro singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run double in the 8th. On the year Navarro is hitting .312 with 43 hits, 2 home runs, 18 RBIs, .406 OBP and has scored 29 runs. |
