Ríos Picked as June's Pitcher of the Month Sunday, July 1st, 2018 In June, Alfredo Ríos tore through the League 2 AAA like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 21 years old. The young Bagley starter posted a 4-1 mark and an ERA of 3.49 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 38.2 innings he collected 31 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .241 average. This season-to-date, Ríos has fashioned a 5-1 mark and 4.91 ERA in 55 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .266 against him and he has logged 44 strikeouts. |
