Bakersfield's Lippi Gets Outstanding Pitcher Award Wednesday, September 26th, 2018 The votes are in for the 2018 League 1 AAA Outstanding Pitcher Award. It has been bestowed on Orsino Lippi of the Bakersfield Nobles. The 29-year-old Nobles ace finished the year with a 13-5 mark, logged 24 starts, threw 149 innings, yielded 155 hits, struck out 140 and held the opposition to a .264 batting average.Ron Barry of the Bakersfield Nobles finished second in voting, while Barry Jones of the Salt Lake City Buzz finished third. |
