Hits Galore: Zhang Drills 5 Hits Sunday, September 9th, 2018 There are moments in a player's career that they will not soon forget. Chi-ju Zhang of the Lookouts had one of those moments when he went 5 for 5 at the plate today, but he couldn't pull out the victory. Despite his hitting heroics, Thomasville fell in defeat 7-6 to the Tortolita Drummers at Lookouts Ballpark. The 21-year-old center fielder told reporters in the postgame interview, "This was quite a day for me individually, but a little disheartening at the same time. It would have been very special, if we had won the game." Chi-ju Zhang singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th and doubled in the 8th. A look at his season totals shows Zhang with 3 home runs, .287 BA, .362 OBP, 49 RBIs and 83 runs scored. |
