McJannett and Piņa Suspended, Out 3 Games Tuesday, August 7th, 2018 It was quite a row yesterday at Drummers Ballpark. The Drummers Pat McJannett and the Disaster Juan Piņa backed up their angry words with a few shoves and a few swings. Then both dugouts raced onto the field and got involved in the fracas. When it was over, only McJannett and Piņa were ejected. As expected they were informed by the league office that they would each have to serve 3-game suspensions for their inappropriate actions. This season McJannett has hit at a .282 clip with 41 RBIs, 9 home runs and 45 runs scored. This season Piņa has made 27 relief appearances, saving 11. His record is 2-3 with 30 strikeouts in 25.2 innings and a 5.26 ERA. |
