Tamayo's Strong Week Earns 1AAA Trophy Monday, August 6th, 2018 Jorge Tamayo is respected by most Phoenix Hotspur Reserves fans for his no-frills style of play. The 28-year-old third baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the League 1 AAA Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .469 average (15-32) with 2 home runs, 9 RBIs and 11 runs scored. So far this year Tamayo is batting .300 with 10 home runs, 55 RBIs and 60 runs scored. |
