Hialeah's Kitamura Gets L3AAA Player of the Week Monday, August 13th, 2018 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the League 3 AAA, but last week Motoshige Kitamura of the Hialeah Dodos reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Kitamura rocked opposing pitching for a .500 average (13-26), 3 home runs and 11 RBIs to come away with the award. Kitamura is hitting .489 this year with 4 home runs, 16 RBIs and 10 runs scored. He has 22 hits in 45 at-bats, 7 walks and a .558 on-base percentage. Kitamura has played in 12 games. |
