USPL Double A Names Top Player Monday, August 14th, 2017 Brent Burgess burst onto the USPL Double A stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie shortstop for Leupp garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 24-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .444 (12-27) with 2 home runs and 8 RBIs last week. Burgess is currently hitting at a .310 pace with 7 home runs, 40 RBIs and has scored 52 times. |
