Villalobos Receives Injury Update Thursday, August 10th, 2017 Rafael Villalobos will have to wait a while longer. The Irving starting pitcher was informed this afternoon that he will miss another 10 months with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. The injury has kept him off the field since 08/06/2017. Though Villalobos had hoped to return soon, he has no choice but to be patient. "Gotta stay focused," he said. "Gotta stay positive." On the year Villalobos has compiled a 2-12 mark with a 7.79 ERA. |
