Week's Premier Performer Honored by UAA Monday, August 7th, 2017 It was a week to remember for Alberto Taváres. After wrapping up a torrid week at the plate, the Leupp Arrowheads first baseman was named the USPL Double A Player of the Week. Taváres collected 11 hits in 23 at-bats for a .478 average. He also accounted for 14 RBIs, 3 home runs and scored 3 runs. On the year Taváres has hit .327 with 11 home runs, 49 RBIs and scored 41 runs. |
