Bocanegra Receives Updated Diagnosis Wednesday, July 26th, 2017 The injury that has kept José Bocanegra out of action since 06/03/2015 will keep him out a while longer. Louisville Slugs officials made the announcement this afternoon. They said that Bocanegra is expected to miss at least 5 weeks with a hamstring strain. This year Bocanegra has collected a .120 batting average to date with 3 hits in 25 at-bats, 2 RBIs, no home runs and scored 3 times. He has played in 22 games. |
