Garza Cracks 3 HR for Fur Traders Sunday, July 16th, 2017 Ángel Garza, the Tacoma catcher, blasted three homers today at Ballpark of Tacoma in the Fur Traders 10-9 victory against the Phoenix Hotspur Youth. For the game, Ángel Garza scored 3 times and knocked in 3 runs. When he hit his last home run, his teammates, hearing the crack of the bat, leaped off the bench and rushed on the field to greet the jubilant Garza, when he reached home plate. In the clubhouse after the game, he gleefully said to the press, "It was just one game, but it sure was a lot of fun -- 3-for-4, three roundtrippers and a win. What a day!" Currently Garza is batting .357 with 15 hits and 5 home runs. He has knocked in 12 runs and scored 12 times. |
