Player of the Week: Collins of the Thunder Hawks Monday, May 29th, 2017 So far in his young career, Michael Collins has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the USPL Double A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 23-year-old Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks center fielder hit at a torrid .462 clip as he collected 12 hits in 26 at-bats, 2 home runs, 7 RBIs and 7 runs scored. Collins is currently hitting at a .348 pace with 2 home runs and 10 RBIs. |
